A fully equipped laboratory for routine and specialized
investigations is functioning in the Medical Centre. The
laboratory is unique with state of the art machines, manned by
qualified and trained professionals under a qualified pathologist.
The department is a major hub of activity supporting all the
numerous departments of the medical centre. The results are
obtained within a short time and are readily made available both
to the patient and the doctor. The lab undertakes all cases
including
- Pap smear studies
- Fine needle aspiration cytology/biopsy
- Histopathological examination of Tissue biopsies
- Various cases of Clinical Biochemistry including:
- Complete Cholesterol profile
- Liver Function test
- Kidney function test
- Bone profile
- Serological Assays including:
- Hepatitis profile
- Rotavirus Ag Detection
- HIV I & II
- Hormonal Assays including:
- Fertility hormones
- Thyroid profile
